This guy is the biggest douchebag i have ever met. He is so rude to his students, gives us homework that takes 5 hours to complete, that has NOTHING to do with the material on the test or what he's teaching, does not answer questions students have on exams or what he's doing in class, comes to class with no idea of what he's doing and notes go all over the board. The exams have material that we never learned, but are somehow expected to know, and we learned stuff that no other diff eq classes were learning, but then didn't learn some of the basic stuff that the other classes did. do what you can to NOT take him as a professor. i tried to get bronski, but the prof changed 2 days before classes, and didn't get the opportunity to change back.

Besides learning material from the book, Palmore likes to teach applications to this class such as "rocket problems". His lectures are unorganized, but if you are in his second lecture they will a little bit better because worked out the kinks from the 1st. His test are based on his notes, so take good notes, and almost half the class never knew what was going on. It is also very hard to ask questions because he'll end up making you look stupid. Good luck!

Horrible professor, had many problems on exams like"rocket problems" that aren't in the book at all. He went over them in class but never worked out examples. The only way to learn most of the material in the class was to go to office hours where the TA would explain things. The material isn't that difficult but taking the class with this professor was awful.

Pros: He curves a lot in his course.
Cons: He does not care much about his students. He always rise questions and never answer them clearly.
