Very good teacher. He is very smart and can answer almost any of your questions. He will call you out in class if you are texing or talking, and he gets mad when that happens, but other than that he is very entertaining and I have learned a lot from him.

You won't take quizzes in class, but there wil be one almost every week in recitation. They're pretty short and simple though, not a big deal. Dr. Golding is funny and will keep your attention and get you interested in the matetrial.If you combine that with a good TA and good effort on your part, you'll ace this course!

Pros: Great teacher. Textbook not required. Makes class very engaging. Funny and includes great video clips to help you learn with things you can relate to. Barely ever uses the full class period.
Cons: Hates to see phones in class. Will embarrass anyone leaving early. Some test questions can be tricky.
Dr. Golding is one of the best professors at UK. He is very engaging and gives excellent notes. The only troubling thing is that test questions frequently involve "none of the above" answers that may or may not be the correct answer as well as multiple letter answers ("both A and B" or "both A, B, and D"

Pros: He's AWESOME!!!!

Gets you interested in the class. He really knows what he's talking about, and he makes the class enjoyable and fun. He's a cool guy.



All the exams are based on information he gives on the powerpoint slides. If you write everything down, study from that and you can easily get a B or A.



He gives you time to write everything down too.
Cons: You're required to have 6hrs of studies done to pass the class.



Have a lab also for this course, and there's a bit of work involved with that. But it isn't anything too overwhelming.

Pros: Amazing teacher! He knows what he is talking about and in class is willing to explain any questions you have.
Cons: Out of class he can be a bit of a jerk.
Study for his test because ours were 5 short answer questions and he wants them very detailed. He also keeps attendance, speak up in class he likes that.

Dr. Golding teaches the big Memorial Hall class, but does a very good job explaining everything, and as long as you are behaved and focused, it is a fun class.
