CMSC 212 - INTRO TO LOW-LEVEL PROG at University of Maryland

Three hours of lecture and two hours of discussion/recitation per week. Prerequisite: CMSC132 with a grade of C or better; or permission of the department based on satisfactory performance on the department placement exam and permission of department. Corequisite: CMSC250. Introduction to many of the concepts that lie behind software, such as hardware, memory layout, memory management, and operating systems.
