He didn't depend so much on powerpoints last semester (Spring '10), due to the student reviews from previous semesters. The extra work done out on the blackboard really helped. All in all, I think he's the best professor to take orgo with.
Pros:
-Provides handouts of his lectures
-Gives out plenty of practice worksheets
-Many exam questions are taken from the homework, though altered slightly
-Very fair exams
-Great curve at the end of the course
Cons:
-The clickers were often impossible! You could tell most people were just guessing. He gives you around 1-2 minutes to do each. Most people would not get the correct answer. ~1-3 clickers per lecture

Nice guy but he teaches the entire semester using powerpoints. If you can learn from the book than the semester isnt that bad. Without the self motivation to learn on your own your going to be screwed. Hes fair though and tries to help you out by giving you hints.

Conducts lecture using prepared PowerPoints. You need the textbook to do homework problems and preferably the Study Guide so you can check your answers. A lot of the questions on exams are based on those in the homework.

Pros: He tries his best to convey a difficult topic as clearly as possible. Works out problems in class and makes the subject interesting.
Cons: Hearing him can be a difficulty sometimes. He also is vague about getting answers to the homework problems thus getting help outside office hours is difficult.
Despite the class being hard, I felt it was definitely do-able. The textbook is absolutely necessary as well as regular attendance to class since he hints at the exam questions. Make sure to review any problems given on handouts since those are always on the exams. He is big on nomenclature and mechanisms! Lastly, stay ahead. It's easy to fall behind his pace and the concepts build on top each other.

Pros: He's pretty nice, and he gives out extra credit every week for 10 points each.
Cons: He's very boring, and if you sit in the back, you can barely hear him even with his mic on.
Frankly, I never paid attention in class. I copied the stuff he wrote on the board but I never used them to study. I read the book for every exam. His exams are cumulative so they add up.

Pros: Ammon knows his stuff, and is a generally a kind old man. TA's tend to be very helpful and knowledgeable.
Cons: His lecture notes are as chaotic as can possibly be. Four difficult exams are the only grades for the semester.
Although it is clear he knows what he is talking about, he seldom gives a clear and adequate description of required materials in lecture.

Pros: Some of the questions on his exams are in the end of the chapter problems.
Cons: His class is really hard if you do not pay attention to his lectures closely and do the back of the book problems. The best I could see someone getting is B+
He is not a very personable person. I wouldn't take him for your first Organic Chemistry class.

Pros: Adorable old man. Tells jokes to his morning class to wake them up. uses a combination of the blackboard, power points, and models to get his point across. Exams are not difficult if you keep up in class.
Cons: Does not really like answering questions that students ask unless they are written on the board before class begins.

He's an older gent, goes heavily off the textbook and expects you to read. Knows his orgo though and teaches well - exams go off the textbook and the lecture slides.
Idk if he's still doing homework but when I took it, we had online homework that was a pain in the butt due every two weeks or so.

Pros: He tests directly from the hw problems.
Cons: He is a HORRIBLE lecturer.
If you do the hw problems thoroughly with good understanding, you are guaranteed to pass the exams; they are not that hard. You just can't expect lecture to teach you anything, it's all about doing the reading with Ammon.

Don't take Ammon for chemistry. While he is very smart and knows what he is talking about, he can't teach very well. All the lectures were complex power points, which was impossible to take notes on.
