His Australian accent is a bright bit of sunshine in the otherwise dark world of calculus. Calc is a challenge for me, but he has a descent common-sense manner of explaining things. Challenging, but he tries to make many opportunities to accrue a good amount of points. Not bad.

Some people didnt, but I really liked this professor. He was really nice when you came to office hours and tried to give you as much help as possible for the next exam. I'd take another class with him for sure.

Pros: Very intelligent teacher who knows the material. Also gives a very fair and student-friendly grading system.
Cons: Spends too much time on proofs and not enough explaining examples and steps. 6 tests which are pretty hard and the final counts as a significant part of your grade in the class.
Gives you the option of taking your final EXAM grade to be your final CLASS grade which is nice.

Pros: cool accent and might be related to the crocodile hunter. Test are a breeze if you do homework as not many tricks are used on exams
Cons: rushes through lecture so slow him down by reading before hand to ask questions to harder problems he explains in class

Pros: curves grade so final can replace semester average if you get a certain average on last 3 exams
Cons: very hard to follow and only does proof, probably should be teaching higher level math

Pros: Humorous, NOT ASIAN, understandable.
Cons: He is not the one doing all the teaching, a lot depends on your TA.
Hard class but he is very understanding and has several extra credit opportunities. One of the best math professors I've had.

Pros: final option is wonderful- if you're passing the class and get a better grade on the final than your total average, you get the final as your grade. he really just wants you to learn the material.
