CHEM FUNDAMENTALS I

He comes to class unprepared, can't make heads or tails of his own notes half the time, and can't do the math right to save his life. It's really frustrating to try and sit through lecture.

Cons: He talks to the blackboard not to the students and even on the off chance that he does try and speak to the class, you cannot understand what he is saying. You basically pass that class by going to discussion and reading your book like the bible. Online homework is helpful too but if you have to use your book and notes to get it done, then the tests will be difficult.
He is a research professor and that is the only reason he teaches, so keep that in mind when choosing his class. Recommendation: choose a different professor.

Pros: If you read the book, you will understand a lot of the material he covers in class.
Cons: Having him at 8 in the morning is droning. His voice is dull and he doesn't seem to enjoy teaching. He rarely takes up questions during lecture and just skims through his lecture slides. You have to read the book to really understand what's going on in class.

Awful teacher! makes mistakes frequently and is extremely monotonous, making it difficult to stay awake in class. Better off not attending lecture and reading the book.
