Although her lectures may be dry, some are interesting and she really enjoys some of the lectures. I've seen other bsci106 tests and by far hers are the easiest. Tests are straight forward. No book reading is necessary; only lecture notes. I recommend going to class to hear the lectures - makes the class easier, but you can get the notes online.

an average professor, again the random minutia is irritating...one of the questions on the first exam asked for the name of Darwin's ship...which does not contribute to the course objectives

This is by far the worst class and instructor I have had in my 3 years at this university. She presents extremely way too much material for a 100 level course, and rarely specifies what points are more important than others. The tests in turn have specific questions that may consist of one or two lines from a lecture slide and do not test your larger mastery of a concept. Does not reply to emails and is a very monotonous lecturer. Rambles.

This woman sounds like she's about to cry and/or die when she's lecturing. Her notes on power point slides do not help since nothing she writes makes any sense and her lectures don't help since nothing she says makes any sense either. I left my first midterm thinking I definitely got an A and I got a C so do not underestimate her. She expects you to know a lot even though she teaches nothing.

She is a terrible professor, but has pretty easy test. Everything is straight off the lecture notes. Also, make sure to draw every graph she puts on the projector, she loves to make you recreate them on tests.
