Professor Studer-Ellis is the most helpful teacher I've had. He has help sessions every week to help with the homeworks and review sessions before every test. There is certainly no lack of enthusiasm for teaching either. He is always in his office and always wants to help. Just make sure that you don't miss discussion sections, just doing the activity sheets and turning in a completed homework every week will get you 150 out of the 600 points (they don't grade these for accuracy.) Another good thing about this class is that he uses a course packet that costs $20 and contains all of the class notes you need.

Always well prepared and extremely knowledgeable on the course material. Very nice guy. You MUST go to class and discussion sessions. Only negative is that he changes the amount of extra credit given every semester. This semester he gave 5 points, whereas last semester he gave 20 points. Because of this, one bad exam can be your downfall. Also, exams vary in difficulty. Past exams were easier than this semesters.

The class is really hard but it's difficult to not like the class because Studer-Ellis is a great teacher. Make sure you go to class and you should be okay.
