His TA's, Will and Joe, were absolutely amazing. Just take the time to go in and get to know them, and they will make an effort to help your grade. I ended up getting an A in that class.

Pros: He really knew what he was talking about, and was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the subject.
Cons: The class could be a little boring, especially when he'd get off topic and ramble for a while. Sometimes it was hard to convince myself to go to class.
Generally, I enjoyed the class. I took it as a gen ed, and the workload and quality of the class is basically what I'd expect from that. He was a good professor who knew his stuff and was always pretty energetic, the topic itself was just a bit dry for my taste.

Pros: Very, very interesting lectures. He is very entertaining and knowledgeable. His study guides are helpful.
Cons: No notes on Blackboard, either be there every day or get notes from a classmate.
Grade is based on 2 exams and 1 paper. Exam format is 5 short answer (you pick your 5 out of 7-10 possibilities) and 1 essay. On the study guide, he gives 4-5 possible essay questions. He chooses the essay question from these.

Pros: Exciting as a podium-leaner can be, told fun, relevant stories, movies were used and referred to
Cons: No powerpoints used, one huge out of class essay.
Reading was referred to on tests and in lecture, but not on quizzes. Overall, an exciting professor with a lot of content knowledge who's eager to share it with the class. It was fun to hear obscure stories about events I never knew happened before.
