ECONOM 1014 - Principles of Microeconomics

She has a prickly demeanor, but she is a good teacher and she's fair if you deserve it. It's not a very hard class if you go to class. I started going to class the second half of semester and aced the last two tests...so yeah. Plus there's like 3 extra credit quizzes on blackboard

Pros: She teaches the class.

Cons: She wants people to stop talking all the time. So she'll wait for students to stop talking even though class time is over. She also has no care for her students success. She basically thinks everything is a joke. She never answers your emails.

Cons: She fails half her class. She doesn't compromise with grades and she talks so fast in class its hard to stay on top of it. She's more worried about getting the information all in rather than her students learning it.

Pros: She knows her subject.

Cons: She doesn't know how to teach her subject.

She doesn't need to be teaching. Her tests are not difficult, but they are too long for the test period. Her online quizzes are also timed and you only get one chance. You'll spend most of the twenty minutes pulling up graphs to answer the quiz questions. And you will hate graphs by mid-semester, since she seems to be obsessed with them, spending more time on graphs than actual discussion. I am sure the class wouldn't be such an ordeal if she would actually have students doing real projects. Instead she just makes up tests and quizzes with ambiguous questions that are too long to complete in the little time given. Avoid this class if you can.

Pros: NONE.

Cons: She's mean and you can only pass on a huge curve at the end. Don't even think about trying to get an A. Homework due every Wednesday, and timed quiz every Friday. Must study before quizzes or you will fail.

Her information seems general and easy, but some how you fail everything. He answers are only a little different from each other. All multiple choice.......which means you do one problem wrong than you get the 10 multiple chose based on that one problem wrong.

Pros: People completely overhype how hard she is. I got an A without too much effort

Cons: Class is really boring.

Go to the weekly EC revviews and be in class fridays before holidays, she'll often give out EC then too.
