SURVEY OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE
5
Pros: I found the class to be a good mix of lecture with short videos interspersed and current news events. He's always prepared. Expectations are clear, and there are several different ways to get points towards the final grade. Class attendance, papers, tests and quizzes and if you fall behind he will work with you. Extra credit is offered.
Cons: Follows a tight schedule on the curriculum. This is a introductory survey course, so the class size is large and there isn't much chance for interaction.
Extra credit will only get you a bump of one letter grade so don't fall too far behind. He will work with you on assignment deadlines but there is a late penalty of a couple of points.

Pros: Has some funny youtube videos. The assignments and quizzes are very easy. The test isn't too bad either as long as you study.
Cons: He reads the slides. There are way too many videos, you could probably get just as much out of the class by watching youtube. Assignments must be hard copy, think paper and cds. He referenced floppies once.
He throws his opinion into his lectures. So if you do not do well with that, he is not the teacher for you. Overall I would not recommend this teacher.
