Excellent professor. He knows his stuff, and he's more than willing to help you out if you have trouble. His exams are difficult, but if you attend the lectures and take notes, as well as keeping up with the reading, you should be fine. Very enthusiastic, fun demonstrations for relevant lessons.

Great enthusiasm, awesome lecturer - however, the homework is very hard and the tests are killer for an introductory course, especially if you've never taken physics.

Pros: Very energetic. There are SI sessions three times a week if you need help with homework or just have questions in general.
Professor Clegg is a very energetic professor. All of his lectures include demonstrations that help you understand the concepts easily. The exams are challenging but if you do the homework and complete the review cases he provides, they are not too bad.

I'm not done with this class but it has been nice. I like that I can grasp the concepts here with minimal math to prepare for higher level physics.

Pros: Extremely fun class because I think the material is interesting. Basically the class is what it says, How Things Work. Cool teacher in terms of helping you like the material and wanting you to succeed.
Cons: The class is really hard because the professor uses a lot of technical terms that you may not understand at first if you've never taken physics. I wouldn't recommend this class to anybody because it takes a lot of conceptual understanding of physics before even taking the class.
Cool teacher, just really hard material. Your going to have to WORK for an B in this class
