Extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic prof. Loads of novels to read, but they are interesting and relevant to the course. Lecture based and you NEED TO GO TO CLASS! One of UNC's better professors.

HIST 128 - AM HIST SINCE 1865
Cons: TAs were terrible, didn't collaborate for grading exams, so every one of them wanted something different.

Pros: He knows a ton about history, and he is very passionate about what he lectures. Also he is funny in class.
Cons: He is old school in that if your cell phone goes in class you are forced to leave. Also his TA's are strict graders.

Cons: Easily became very agitated

If your phone goes off, you are kicked out of class

One day, someone's phone went off and he threatened to cancel lecture and make us responsible for it.
