A great teacher, really makes sure that you understand the material which he does thoroughly with his skeleton notes. If you do all the practice problems he assigns (not for a grade) you'll do fine.

Good professor. Only 3 exams and the final, but he'll drop the lowest exam. He's funny and engaging, but very serious about chemistry. He's a morning person, so he's really energetic in the morning, but definitely not as much in the evening.

Pros: Great teacher, very funny, would have been a really easy class if i tried, but i didnt know how to study as a freshmanm but ended up with a B

Cons: Exams are a bit tricky, but its UNC, what do you expect??

Take him over ANYONE else, amazing professor.

Pros: very enthusiastic as a professor and always willing to help you. a character at the least. definitely the teacher you want for bio 101

Cons: the class is a biology class so that makes the workload significant

One of the best teachers at UNC by far. Class is tough but really forces you to learn Chem which you will need to know fully for higher-level chemistry classes.
