Good teacher - not so friendly though. She was a bit condescending, but if she knew you and recognized your face from coming to extra help sessions she was a lot nicer.

where to begin...well Morse is one of the most annoying professors i've had at UNC. Every 10 seconds she asks you "do you get what im yapping at ya, are u following the bouncing ball?" and "okay back to the ranch" along with numerous other dumbass sayings. she is a horrible lecturer, and makes multiple mistakes each lecture.
her notes are pointless so you teach yourself from the mastering chem, which you have every week and takes you hours on end to complete. you have a chapter quiz every week, which she gives you very similar quizzes for practice, the most likely reason being that she's too fat and lazy to make up new problems herself.
the final is going to have 81 questions on it, yes thats right, 81 questions. in 3 hours=a little over 2 min a question. she expects everyone to be speed freaks when they take her tests, even though they are relatively easy. also, you have a very small amount of room to work on the quizzes because she crams about 18 questions onto 1 sheet of paper printed horizontally, so there's little room to do your work.
Another thing, she doesnt allow graphing calculators in her psychotic battle against cheating, which is pointless anyways because she just sits on her fat ass the whole time during a quiz so everyone cheats anyways. needless to say, there have been times where difficulties with using a scientific calculator with long equations with exponents led to me getting an answer wrong.
overall, i hate this professor, but she isn't bad to get a good grade in. go to class, but dont bother taking notes because she will screw up 90% of the time. so my best advice is to just go to lecture and try your hardest to "follow the bouncing ball" then spend a few hours teaching yourself from the mastering chem and do the practice problems and you'll be fine. but be prepared to dedicate a lot of time to this class
Pros:
-class is relatively easy
-curves a lot
-not hard to make a decent grade
-gives similar review quizzes
Cons:
-exams are long as hell
-chapter quizzes every week
-work all the time
-horrible at explaining concepts
-makes mistakes in lecture
-teach yourself the material
-generally annoying

She loves the subject, and has been teaching it for a while, but she is extremely prone to making mistakes in her lectures (in both content and calculations) and is honestly awful at explaining the course material. Unnecessarily harsh grading and extremely long exams make this course miserable. However, she awards nearly everyone an A or a B. There are still better options.

She is very knowledgeable in her field, however, she does not know how to get that knowledge to the students in a fashion that they can learn very easily.

It's a tough class, but she gives 50% A's. If you do the work, you'll be fine.
