FOUNDATIONS OF BIOLOGY 2
Pros: straight forward test is verbatim from notes, if you memorize(and memorize it perfectly) you'll be in good shape for the test and can get around alot of the types of tricks he tries to pull on exams. You know what you need to know for the exams exactly, it's up to you to do it.
Curves in most cases and always adds a couple points to people's grades due to bad test questions

Cons: Willing to pull any trick on a test, just because it's a memorization/reading type class doesn't mean you don't have to spend alot of time on it. If your even a bit shaky in remembering the notes on the exam, you can easily fall into his traps.

Not really a class based on understanding or thinking, more memorization, means it's not as challenging to get a good grade and while you'll learn a good bit, it's not helpful for you down the road
Don't second guess yourself on a test, like I said he's willing to put any trick on there, if you think it's a trick type question, it probably is......
This is one of those classes where truely the effort and time you put into this class is what you'll get out, it's really straightforward and simple as that and if you want an A your going to have to put in a good bit of work.

Pros: Textbook not needed.
Very knowledgable.
Willing to help students understand the material.

Cons: Tests are extremely HARD.
Long lectures with endless note taking.

If you want to learn about biology take this class. Not easy! Must understand a lot of detailed information. Don't buy book.. Will never use it. Curves class's grade to a 75% at the end of the year if the average is below that.
