PRINCIPLES OF CHEMISTRY II
5*****
Pros: He is a great lecturer! He is the Dean of the Department and knows what he is talking about. You will never fall asleep in his class because he is so good. He gives you alot of ways to study but you have to figure out which one is the best for you. He gives alot of extra credit and curves grades according to how the class is doing overall. He is the BEST chem professor at UT and therefore, it is very hard to get a spot into his class. For each test and quiz, he gives you the types of questions that will be on them, so you only have to study for that.

The best thing i loved about his class was that if you got an A on the final, you got an A for the class. Also, if you have an A before the final, you get exempt.

Overall, AMAZING!
Cons: He goes a bit fast in class and therefore you have to do either two things. One is to go to office hours, where he often gives out the answers to the questions for tests and quizzes and tells you exactly how to work the question on the quiz. Two is that you can go home and learn the stuff on your own. Make sure you know high school chemistry, otherwise you will get lost and it will be hard for you to catch up.

Dr. Laude is a great teacher. He's very smart and knows what he's doing. His class takes a lot of work, though. His tests are pretty hard, but he gives you the question types that will be on the tests or quizzes a week or so before they occur. That way, you know exactly what will be on the test and exactly how the question is asked. I never had to read the book--it went way farther in depth than was necessary. I studied his course notes, which you can buy the first week of class and contain all of his lecture notes and past quizzes and tests. Dr. Laude is really funny and his lectures are entertaining, for the most part. His TAs are awesome and really smart. His class is always extremely full, but I highly recommend taking his course if you can.

4****
Pros: Great professor that offers many different ways of presenting course material. (ex: lecture, learning modules online, video clips) Don't really have to go to class, lecture is recorded and posted online.
Cons: Sometimes the number of options you have for learning material is a bit confusing because you don't know which one is best. There's not really interaction between him and the students, only the TA. He starts lecture with nothing but his voice - no outline or papers, really.

Pros: He gives you the question types that are going to be on the test and also has review sessions where he goes through each one and gives you little hints. He also posts up video clips where he explains certain topics and worksheets with video solutions. His tests are fair and he also gives extra credit and drops 2 of the 6 quizzes he gives.
Cons: His review sessions were usually at night and he also spends only about three minutes on each question.

Pros: He is a great and interesting lecture. He doesn't care if you miss class and puts his lectures online.

He also wants everyone to make an A. To do this he tells you exactly what stuff to know for the tests at his review sessions.

There are also TA review sessions each week, where you can go and ask questions and do problems that are essentially identical to the ones on the quizzes and exams except have different numbers.
