He knows what he's talking about he just assumes that since he understands it we must all understand it just as well. The material doesn't really relate from week to week initial but by the second half of the course thing seem to come together and relate. Questions are kind of tricky and meant to trip you up so if you don't know how to do the problem exactly how they did it in lecture of recitation then you have no chance to get it right. Lecture and recitation were mandatory even though little was learned in either and most everything you had to learn from the lecture module notes out of class.

Well,
in the bunch of useless and overconfident math teachers...
he is one of the best..
he makes the course really simple for you and his class goes a week ahead of other classes so during final exam week you are done with his course..
also i got an A on this class..
its was really easy..
altho' recitation is a lil bit of BS
he doesnt teach..
he has these TA's who take the class and waste one hour of every week of your life..
and suck on your blood..
and then transform into vampires...
and remove their laser torches and fry you..
but dont worry..
you'll end up with an A..minimum B
if you get lesser...
you dont need a math teacher..
you need a doctor to check your brain

Greenberg got hurt the second week of lectures and after that our class had other teachers for the majority of the semester, so while I did not get the full experience of his teaching I can tell you that compared to the two substitutes teachers he was okay. He was very interested in the subject and cracked a few jokes here and there, but whenever he was not making a joke, it was hard to stay awake in his class. The class itself is not too hard, but I personally learned more from taking the quizzes then I did during class. Oh and make sure you take the quizzes on time.

Vector is a boring class, but will be used in many later engineering class like physics, statics, electricity, and others. The teachers are all doing other more interesting things, and it shows when they teach this class. Never miss class or resc. they knock off many points. Also, print off 5 copies of every quiz, and group the questions by format. Then study the hell out of these. After doing that, you will be fine on all the emporium based quizzes and tests. The recs. is easy, just find smart coworkers on the quizzes. Good luck!

Mr. Greenberg is one of the craziest teachers I have ever had. Going to lectures is pointless except to sign in because attendence is a huge part of your grade. This class is definitely self teachable and as long as you figure out the quizzes, or get someone to help you figure them out, you will be fine in this class. Just remember to go to all classes (minus the three you are allowed to skip) and be prepared to jump every 20 minutes during lecture when he starts to scream. No joke.

Dr. Greenberg's class was hilarious for me and at the same time I managed to learn a great deal. He is constantly making some random noise or yelling at the top of his lungs. He does it for a purpose though, and it works, what he does helps the information stick in your head. He is a great teacher to have. He'll prepare you directly for the quizzes and then all the exam questions just come from the quizzes. Just take LOTS of practice quizzes and you'll do fine in this course.

Greenberg is kinda crazy. Towards the end of the semester half the reason I went to lecture was so I could hear the weird/hilarious things he says. If you go to lecture and take notes on how to solve quiz problems, you'll do fine on the quizzes. Recitation is a complete waste of time, though. You are given worksheets that usually are not helpful whatsoever. However, you get a graded on recitation attendance, so it's in your best interest to attend.

I found Greenberg pretty hard to follow and understand. A lot of times he assumed we knew what we were doing and we all just sort of looked at each other like what the heck. He knows what he's talking about but doesn't do a very good job of relating to the students. The quizes aren't too bad because you can use your notes, and the tests are the same types of problems as the quizes, so make sure you know the quizes and you'll be fine.

He's crazy I stopped going to lecture and just attend recitation.
You'll end up teaching yourself by the end of the class.
Just take a lot of practice quizzes until you get the hang.

This guy is the best teacher you can get for Vector Geometry! He knows what he is talking about and he will go through the problems in class, just make sure you go. Easy passing grade.

He was really enthusiastic about the class, but it was utterly boring for me. Lecture was actually not that bad if you took notes but few did, and recitation was pointless.

Greenberg is funny, making it hard to fall asleep in his class. I had the other vector teacher as a sub once, and she was really boring. Greenberg is definitely better.

Greenburg is very enthusiastic when he teaches, but its kind of hard to pay attention in his class. Gonig to lecture helps a lot - you kind of have to anyway.

Cons: greenberg is obviously very knowledgable about the subject, but has trouble communicating it to the students. likes to talk about math and doesn't actually do many example problems. have to teach yourself how to do the questions that are on the quizz

Pros: He usually goes over each type of quiz problem so if you take notes you will know exactly how to do each problem.
Cons: The recitation is the most pointless hour of the week. But attendance is taken so it is an easy 100 for 15% of the grade.

Do lots of practice quizzes before the real quiz and do lots of practice quizzes for the test until you can get all the questions right.
