MAT 105
College Algebra
1*
Pros: Easy quizzes
Cons: Awful personality

Gets annoyed when you ask questions

Tricky exams
Christina is a master's student, meaning she's not an actual lecturer, but a glorified teaching assistant. And trust me, it shows. I've had the misfortune of taking her for both 105 and 106 and she was pretty awful at teaching both. She would get really annoyed if you asked questions and would make students feel like idiots if you didn't get something. She's just awful at teaching and I thought maybe she'd be better in 106 but sadly no. But more than anything, she's just a miserable person to be around.

Thankfully, I think she's graduating soon and she won't be plaguing the math department at CPP any longer. Good riddance.

Well i took her class Spring 2013 so I will try y best to help you out. I had her for mat 106

Her class was not bad at all, she would tell you what was on the test and what types of problems to study. For me trig was just a hard subject and scored really low on the midterms, however, idk if i did really well on the final, but I ended up with a B in her class.

She was always approachable so if you ever get stuck, she will be there to help.

sorry I wasnt much help, its been a while lol.

this website really needs to step it up with professor ratings :P

This review is about MAT 106 + MAT 12

Christina is a very good teacher. She is young and lacks experience in teaching but she actually did a good job in teaching MAT 106 and MAT 12. She is very organised and proactive. She cares about her students. We had three quizzes, two midterms and one final. We also had weekly HW. She is doing her masters in math, which is why I believe she will be among the best math teachers in few years at Cal Poly.

I would recommend her.!
