MTHSC 206 - CALC OF SEVERAL VAR
A great teacher who creates a good classroom environment. I would highly recommend him for any class he teaches.
Pros: Easy teacher to approach and ask questions, handles student-teacher relations well. Uses comical mannerisms in class.
Cons: Sometimes he will not clearly explain the steps that need to be taken to solve a particular type of problem.

He honestly made a simple class hard. Class started out with powerpoint, but ended with scribbling on the white board. Handwriting is less than impressive and class examples have little, if nothing, to do with the material on the test. Make sure to double-check behind him with class examples, graded work, and the syllabus. He may tell you a test date is one day, and surprise, test is another day (happened to me, said test was Thurs but turned out to be Tues). Always trust the syllabus, because he will make more than his fair share of mistakes. Severely critical when grading quizzes and homework, but somewhat slack on grading exams, which may fall in your favor. He curved a few of our grades slightly. One test by as much as 10 points. If you're a self-starter and have a firm basis in stats, you can effectively teach yourself the material from the book, but if you have the opportunity take somebody else I would highly suggest it.
