The first is multiple-choice. The second asks you to define terms. The third asks you to provide short answers (no more than 2-3 sentences). The last asks you to discuss issues, at somewhat greater length. In each case, you must answer a minimum number of questions, out of a larger set of possibilities. If you answer more than the minimum, you will only be graded on the first questions (up to the minimum nwnber). Each question counts equally within each section. So, it should pay to read the list of questions and focus on those about which you are most confident. The entire exam is closed book and closed notes. Good luck.
