Psychology 418 Exam 1 Questions 1. Pick three of Pepper’s World Hypotheses. (a) In a one­page, single­space “cheat sheet,” define each  and give what you see as the defining features of a theory that is inspired by each of those World  Hypotheses. (b) In the rest of your answer, indicate which of our seminal theorists most closely  matches each of the three World Hypotheses that you addressed in Part (a). Two things should be  obvious to your reader: first, which defining features from your cheat sheet map onto each theorist, and  second, which details of the theorist’s work exemplify these features. Here be careful to avoid vague  generalities. For example, if you think someone is a mechanist, it is not enough to say that his theory  emphasized linear cause­effect relationships, because you haven’t pointed to specifics of the theorist’s  work that do this...
