Chapter One Summary: What is advertising? . One form of marketing communication . Marketing communications- billboards, newspaper ads, TV, coupons, sales letters, publicity, event sponsorship, telemarketing calls, emails . Albert Lasker (father of advertising) defined it as "salesmanship in print, driven by a reason why" .
