BIOL 1402
Biology of Animals
4****
Pros: knows alot, likes to use homemade demonstrations and sometimes funny. gives exact examples of what the tests look like and a check list of whats on the test. not hard if you study or are good in the subject naturally
Cons: sometimes the class was boring, but maybe thats because i was in the TR class
can only get extra credit if you get an A on the first test and choose to tutor a fellow student who failed the test. But the extra credit is acutally not having to take the last test and getting an automatic A on it.

Pros: Cool professor with a hell of a lot of tenure, and he lets you know. Attendance is optional, but if you go to class he will give you his exact definitions which he uses on his tests. Also, his game for altruists lets people exempt the 3rd exam if the person they tutor gets a good grade on the 2nd exam. Best part? NO FINAL!!!
Cons: The lab for this class is ridiculous. It's biology for non-majors and we shouldn't have to write essays every week. Also, the tests are all vocab matching, which is cool except he uses his definitions and not the book's, and he groups about 5 terms together in sections that are all very similar and you have to differentiate.
I didn't pass this semester because I didn't go to class and never did the lab homework. I'll be taking it again!

Pros: Is really funny and applies all content in class to everyday life. He is a professor that does not believe in creationism, however he does not criticize theology at all. I learned a lot from his course. Study heavily before test to expect an A. If you receive an 90 percent or better on his first exam you can be possibly exempt from the third exam and therefore don't have to go to class after the second exam.
