Pros: Prof. McKenzie was one of the best teachers I've had at Texas Tech. He is very excited about the material and this makes what could have been an extremely boring subject much more interesting. He gives extra credit all the time just for coming to class on "inconvenient" days (ie snowy days, or the days right after the exam). His curve on the first exam was so great, that one could have made a D on the exam before the curve, and after the curve, they had a B. Overall great experience!
Cons: There is a lot of reading involved in the course, but if you make a schedule to read every week for a couple hours, it really isn't bad. I read probably 2 hours each week for this class.

Pros: It's a very easy, blow-off class.
Cons: I didn't find any meaning in the work we were doing, but I don't really care about Political Science to begin with.

Pros: He is a lawyer so he really knows his stuff. Listen to his generalities about the laws.. they are usually on the exam. If a lot of people don't show up, like on rainy days, he will do a quiz but sometimes give the answers because you came to class.
Cons: Lots of reading

Pros: Great prof, one of the best i've had. makes jokes (or at least tries to) and gives out extra credit on average once a week. assignments are very easy, and his tests are not tricky or difficult. he will also put obviously wrong answers for some of the test questions, most are quite funny to read. also hands out useful reviews for tests and the final.
Cons: it's political science, so it's boring to begin with. try to take him when you know you'll be at class or awake.

Pros: He is really funny and exams aren't very hard.
Cons: He tries to scare you at the beginning of the semester that his class is hard and recommends you buy the textbooks. Don't be scared.
Pretty easy class. Didn't buy books or study very much and got an A.
