INTRO TO PSYCH
4****
This was my best professor this quarter. He is very into Psychology, and I never felt like I wanted to fall asleep. The only problem is that he goes into a lot of detail about the experiments and on the tests he asks you questions about things that were only brought up once or twice, and so you think that you will do good by just listening and taking notes about the experiments, but it is the other information that he briefly covers in lecture that is on the test. Great teacher and person, but tough tests.

Great professor. He is really into psychology and actually made class enjoyable. He tests you on questions that he only mentioned maybe about once or twice in lecture. I never opened the book or went to any of the sections after the first one. If you just go to lecture you should do just fine. And he also give you a study guide for the midterm and the final which was really nice. HIGHLY recommended.

PSY 103
PSYCHOPATHOLOGY
5*****
Pros: Excellent lecturer; presented information in interesting way

Covers a lot of topics
Cons: There is A LOT of information

Reading the textbook is vital

You essentially learn which drugs to prescribe to crazy people
Fridlund is a riveting lecturer, which isn't hard with a topic like Psychopathology. Although it did not focus on what I had imagined-- serial killers, etc.-- it covered a range of different mental diseases and their subsequent treatments

PSYCHOPATHOLOGY
4****
Pros: Despite the class sometimes being dull, he makes up for it by being enthusiastic quirky
Cons: This class is basically a lot of memorization regarding the course and treatments of disorders. It can be very interesting at times, but is often very dull. 2 exams, both straightforward, but can be tricky if you don't know the material really well
