COT 3100 - Introduction to Discrete Structures
Sometimes it's difficult to understand him, but overall he took the time to explain things, answer questions, and was genuinely concerned about us learning the material. You have ages to do the homework and the exams are all very fair. Very nice guy.

Cons: Can be a little difficult to understand. Bad use of class time.
He gives take home quizzes at just about every class. If you turn in a good amount of the take home quizzes, he will help boost your grade up at the end of the semester. He is unorganized when it comes to the use of class time. He usually spends half an hour going over the said take home quizzes when he should briefly go over them for about 10 minutes and move on to the new material. Since he takes a lot of time going over the quizzes, he often rushes through the material towards the end of class.

He is fair on exams and he offers extra credit to the people who type up their homework assignments. So, there shouldn't be a problem with passing the class. I highly recommend forming a study group to see the different ways of completing the proofs from your fellow classmates.
