UNIV 1102
Learning to Learn
5*****
Pros: Extremely kind man. He's a little awkward but still funny. He tries his hardest to make a boring class fun. The quizzes are pretty frequent the first half of the semester but very straight-forward and he generally gives bonus questions in case you get one wrong. Easy A.
Cons: He can be a bit disorganized and often goes off on tangents. Occasionally spends to much time explaining things.
Bickerstaff really wants his students to succeed, not only in the class, but in life in general. He is always helpful and I enjoyed going to his class. The class was an easy A and I highly recommend taking him over the other UNIV 1102 professors.

Pros: He's really nice and occasionally hilariously awkward. You'll probably have frequent (every class meeting) quizzes for the first half of the semester or so, but as long as you read the appropriate chapter, you'll be fine. The book is also pretty interesting so staying focused shouldn't be much of a problem. And most of the answers to questions on the quizzes come from the section sub-headings in the book. There's only one test and the final, and he allows you to bring handwritten notes for both.
Cons: A little boring sometimes.
The class teaches you some really valuable study tips; I'd recommend taking it during your freshman year if possible. It's the perfect easy A--it's really not all that time-consuming, and you learn a lot that'll help you later on in the process.

Pros: extremely nice man

interested in your success

interested in getting to know you

very funny

goes easy on "good" students
Cons: can go off on tangents

sometimes humor takes away from teaching

some times his class can become boring
Love this man! He is excited about teaching, and even wants to help his students succeed! He is "nerdy" and "cute", and sometimes can be very fun! However, he can get boring. Be careful with his comments because most of the time they are subtly, but extremely sarcastic. He loves students who laugh at his jokes, and almost everything, even when joking, holds some important information!

Pros: Material is not difficult to comprehend.

Awesome Professor who introduces you to numerous resources around campus (i.e. lots of field trips).
Cons: Research Project is a major pain. Not difficult just tedious. Quizzes at beginning of term aren't difficult but also very tedious.
-Tests are easy, but so simple that it is hard to get your point across without restating the question.

-Very awkward but lovable man who really cares for your well-being.

-VERY dry humor.

-A sizable amount of work but a fairly easy class to get an A in.

Pros: Easy class, lots of little projects and quizzes that help grades.
Cons: Massive dick. Thinks he's hilarious, isn't. Very poor at receiving student commentary, especially relating to th Nova project (a "scientific" project where you choose a documentary from a list on Wikipedia. During the choosing, he totally disregards psychology and engineering as sciences.)
Easy class with a professor I and many other students found it difficult to connect with and get along with.
