Pros: Very easy class as long as you study for the exams and remotely pay attention in class.
Cons: Although all the notes are uploaded on eLC you will miss some crucial test questions if you don't show up.

Pros: Keeps the class entertained because some of the lectures are somewhat boring, but he knows his material and a lot of the material is pretty common sense. He has a British accent and really cares about his students and doing well in the class. He even gives his students his cell phone number the first day of class. If you have to take a life science, take this class!

Pros: Once you finish your paper and presentation, you're done. You just have to show up and be a good audience.
Cons: The one paper and presentation are a good-sized chunk of your grade. Also, you're trying to spark conversation, which can be really difficult.

Pros: Only a couple of tests, which is all your grade really consists of. Don't have to go to class really since the notes/powerpointes are posted. Interesting.
Cons: Can be boring at times, but it is informational.

Pros: BEST/EASIEST CLASS YOU WILL EVER TAKE
Cons: none
This class is a hidden gem that satisfies the life science requirement for a lot of majors. I took it to avoid biology and it's one of the best decisions I've made in college. He co-taught my class with Dr. Wilde and it was great. If you do the extra credit paper, it's 5 points on your final average for 30 minutes of effort. He's very approachable and quick with email responses (like within 10 minutes quick). If there's a project/debate that's optional and offered, do it. I got 3 extra points on my average for that- plus he took us to lunch. TAKE THIS CLASS.

Pros: Funny guy
Easy tests (with some study, of course)
Lots of guest lecturers
No final
Plenty of extra credit
Dr. Green is amazing. The End. He awarded almost a full letter grade of extra credit, and opened every lecture with a joke or story. He dropped unfair questions from the tests. Tests included multiple question formats, but were very fair. All powerpoint slides were posted online. There was some homework, but it was mostly based on opinion and took ten minutes or so to complete.
Also, know the name of your textbook. Just in case ;).
