Pros: She is a very interesting professor and she makes the class fun.
Cons: Her test are way to hard for the amount of material we are able to cover in the class. She is also totally rude when it comes to grades.

Pros: She gives two or three things throughout the semester for extra credit and the in class activities and blogs due weekly are easy 100s to keep your grade up. Also, the free online resources from the online book are where she gets some test questions.
Cons: She can be a little boring with her lectures but she likes discussion and tries to be interactive with the class.

Pros: I just love her cute little self; she is so sassy and hilarious.. and a very interesting dresser (so hipster). She really listened to feedback and explained things well when questions were asked. She pulled in many pop culture topics and I enjoyed that aspect of the class.
Cons: The subject matter was a little boring and seems like it should be straightforward stuff about life but it isn't when it comes down to the tests. She was very specific and you really have to read the book and go to lecture in order to do well on tests.
Overall, this class wasn't too bad. I love this professor so that made the class a bit more enjoyable. As I said, the subject matter was kinda dry and hard to pay attention to. You have to attend class because she randomly does group activities to take attendance and that really adds up when you miss things.

I liked the material we covered in the class. The research paper that's required is really really easy. Make sure you comment on the other topics on time, but she'll give a 70 if you do it late. Her tests are hard considering the fact that we don't really have enough time cover everything that she puts on them. The articles for the class are really long, but they usually only require that you read the abstract, method, and results. She also will NOT curve your grade, even if you're a senior.

Pros: she's a really good teacher and lectures are clear and easy to follow. she sometimes does things like letting you redo lab reports for a higher grade or redo part of your test for higher partial credit.
Cons: not really a big con unless you skip all the time but she does randomly take up "daily questions" for participation points. (all you do is write down a question or two you have about the topics from the class--you can BS them)
subject matter is easy and clear, especially if you like the field of child development or developmental psych. lecture isn't bad at all and i'd recommend not skipping unless you really need to because of the random participation points. 4 tests and a mandatory final.

Pros: Can use your notes for the test

A little extra credit

Shows videos in class

Class includes discussion
Cons: Some test questions are from random pieces of information from the book (not covered in class), so you either need to read and remember or take notes on the textbook.
Really great professor! Truly knows what she is talking about and cares about the students! If you go to class and study your notes before the test, you should be fine! :) Also, it helps to write down page numbers from the textbook that correspond to your notes, so you can flip to the pages as you take your test.

Pros: young and enthusiastic about the subject
Cons: none
Great professor. Her lectures are very interesting and powerpoints are very well done to summarize key concepts. Tests are all on elc and if you read the chapters and go to class you will do fine. Going to class is important because there are in class assignments sometimes that do factor into your grade (they are very easy points). I definitely recommend this class and Dr. Kozak!

Pros: Very good Prof. She is easy to understand and she explain things extremely well. Easy class, probably one of the easiest As I've ever made.
Cons: You do have a weekly blog that you have to post on once a week. It isn't hard, it's just annoying. Don't skip class! If you miss one day of class you will probably miss half a chapter.

Pros: She's a great professor

The tests are online
Cons: The blogs are pointless
I love Dr. Kozak! She is a great professor she makes the class fun and the material very interesting. The only thing I hated in her class were the blogs. They were just pointless to me, but other wise the test were extremely easy and they're online. Just review your notes and skim the book, you'll do fine

Pros: I thought Kozak's class would be more interesting than it was. It seemed as if we were learning material that everyone basically already knows. Yes, it was an easy class, but I was actually looking to learn something. However, Kozak WAS very knowledgeable about her subject and professional. I enjoyed her as a teacher, but not her class.
Cons: Boring material

Pros: Open book/open notes take home tests on eLC. The bulk of test questions are based off of the powerpoints in class but she makes sure to ask you questions pertaining to the book. She's nice and straight forward.
Cons: You have to do these group blogs on eLC each week. They're easy and are grade boosters but tedious.
