If you get the notes and successfully complete the weekly homework assignments and quizzes, very little studying for the exams is required to achieve a high grade.

Pros: He was always happy to be in class and happy to teach. He does the review sessions before the tests so it's nice to have the teacher be consistent with both class and the test review. Makes my day to go to his class! : )
Cons: none.
he's awesome. take him!

Pros: Lovely teacher, quite funny and gotta love his accent. He gave us the day off for the Royal Wedding! Good notes, and great at explaining steps involved. I wasn't afraid to raise my hand in class to ask a question. He also does the reviews prior to all exams.
Cons: Depends upon the TA you get, I guess. Lab classes were very easy, in my opinion. The quizzes are easy, if you pay attention in lab.

Pros: He has the best personality, and it makes him so cute in a funny way! I loved going to class every morning. If you follow his notes and practice problems before each test you can easily make an A in this class. He explains things well and he is always willing to help during his office hours. Because of O'Neal, Statistics is the best class I've taken at UGA so far! I really enjoyed it. You have to do your homework, if you are able to do your homework on your own-then your fine. If you happen to struggle with your homework he's always willing to go over it! HE'S THE BEST, TAKE HIM!
Cons: NONE, HE'S AMAZING!!
There are 4 test during the semester, the final is optional. The final will replace your lowest grade no matter if you do good or bad! Labs are easy, they are meant to improve your grade. There are also open labs where you can go to get help on homework or go over mistakes on previously taken test.

Pros: Great Lecture Notes

British Accent, Hilarious

Final is optional

Gives review sessions before every test
Cons: Lab isn't that helpful, but it's only once a week and takes 20 minutes tops
Chris O'Neal was one of the best teachers I've had at UGA. Statistics is a fairly easy class here, and I'm sure any professor would be fine, but O'Neal definitely takes the cake. His lecture notes were extremely easy to follow and completely prepared me for the homeworks and the tests. He is also extremely personable and so friendly. Unfortunately, this was his last semester teaching here at UGA because he is a Grad student.

Pros: - Easy homework

- Super helpful

- Very funny and welcoming teacher
Cons: Nothing!...well maybe frequent homework but it's like that with any STAT teacher =/
Great teacher! He is the most adorable thing ever. Very nice and attentive. Will help when you need it. Makes lecture not boring and explains everything clearly, with some humor here and there. I would retake this class with him anytime!! He also goes over homework questions at the beginning of class when you need help on any of them. Laptops in class are allowed but it's better to print out the notes and bring them to class to fill in. Easy class!!!

Pros: Funny, nice guy. Good lecturer, makes Stat easy to understand. Either British or Irish, not sure. Plays Humans vs. Zombies. Does homework problems during class on Fridays. No attendance policy.
Cons: He doesn't make the tests, so I found them more difficult than the problems we worked in the notes, which I understood, and it messed me up.
Chris is funny and super helpful if you have an issue or don't get something. The math isn't hard, but it's boring and hard to motivate yourself to go to class. Tests are harder than the problems in his notes. I made a B+ without too much effort.

Pros: He is an awesome teacher! He comes in every day with a smile on his face and you are guaranteed to have one on your face as well! He knows his stuff and is just as excited about the subject as he is to teach it. And the best part is he has a British accent!
His notes are really easy to follow and he explains things really well with good examples. He also goes over homework and practice test in class, which was really helpful.

Pros: Loved him! Great to ask questions. Always helpful. Makes the material easy to understand, and likes to add jokes in to try to keep the class awake (stats is kinda boring material). Even goes over some of the homework for people who have questions.
Cons: Unfortunately I think this is his last semester teaching (he just finished up his PhD, for anyone looking to take him).
Would take another class with him if he was teaching more.

Pros: Tries to make subject easy

Frequently ended classes early or occasionally cancelled.
When it comes to this class, don't slack off too much early off. It's really easy to pass if you go to the labs and make a 90 on all the homework assignments. Milledge Hall also has free tutoring and the test reviews can really help.

DON'T take the final if you don't need to because it's going to replace your lowest grade regardless

Pros: The BEST stat teacher.
Cons: None really
This guy would really brighten my day everyday in that he was so happy about teaching and he loves this subject. Very willing to help you in any way that he can. Gives a review session before every test that is helpful. He even brought out whole class candy one time. I'd recommend this guy to everyone.

Take this class with O'Neal for sure, most people that get the other professors will come to his class because of how good he is.

Cons: My only complaint is that I'll miss him when the class is over!
If you can, take him! I've also heard Morse is good, if you can't. (:

Pros: He makes it easy to understand and his sense of humor will lighten up the mood in class. the notes are uploaded to eLc before hand so that's cool.
Cons: the notes were already given so sometimes I felt like I had nothing to write down in class so I zoned out a few times because I didnt have to pay attention.

Pros: He is really funny and is the best teacher in the department. My friends who had other teachers actually came to my class instead because he explains everything so well.
He runs the test reviews so if you don't get lucky and get to have him, he can give you a brief overview during the test reviews.

Can understand any question you have and come up with ways for you to understand the problems
Cons: The course overall is just difficult if you have never seen Statistics before. There are no extra credit opportunities and the grades are weighted.
