PSYC 1101
Elementary Psychology
5*****
Pros: She is a very passionate teacher, and you can tell that she cares about each student. She uses different ways to teach like videos, lectures, and class demonstrations. The tests aren't too bad. Some questions are tricky, but overall its just about the basic material of the textbook.
Cons: She is too awesome.

Pros: She is truly one of the best teachers in the psychology department, and one of the best teachers at UGA that I've ever had. She is very intelligent and knowledgeable of the content of her lectures and she is so dedicated to her students and the quality of their learning experience. She is approachable, funny, and her lectures are never boring.
Cons: The material is sometimes hard to understand and it may seem like the tests are challenging but as long as you put the effort in and study enough you will do great in this class.
Although this class is one of the harder psychology classes, it is worth it to be able to learn from such a great teacher. This class is definitely not an easy A course, but an A is definitely attainable and your grade will directly reflect the effort you put in. If you are up for a little challenge, I highly recommend taking this course!

Pros: Very funny and very lively, makes coming to class easy
Cons: Random Attendance
She is very nice and really wants you to do well. The content isn't the easiest but if you go to class and study before the exam you can make an A. I would definitely suggest this class

3***
Pros: Young, entertaining, helpful, interactive on ELC, extra credit opportunities
Cons: Obsessed with sex sometimes?, annoying online homework using the book
Overall, I enjoyed this class with Dr. Renzi, although at times it seemed like she wanted to survey the 300 person lecture on things like drinking and sex, which I found rather odd. The homework was a nuisance and the tests were not as easy as I expected them. It was nice that if you did more than 6.5 hrs in research, you get extra credit to your lowest test grade.

PSYC 1101
Elementary Psychology
4****
Pros: It was an interesting class that kept me entertained and the work load was not too extraneous.
Cons: It was a lot of reading outside of class from the textbook and missing class made it hard to keep up with the material
She is an enthusiastic teacher who likes what she teaches so she makes it interesting and the material that you learn is interesting as well. It is not a slack class and you will have to put effort but as long as you keep up with the reading and the online quizzes you will be fine.

Pros: Great teacher. Really Nice! Willing to help!!! I am not a psych major, but she really makes it interesting! Attendance is not mandatory.
Cons: Weekly homework of 70+ homework vocabulary questions and other notes and such from the book. It's a pain.
Find your "holy shit" factor. She tends use profanity, which although may be slightly unprofessional, it really makes the class even more enjoyable. You just never know when she is going to say something off the wall! TAKE HER FOR SURE!

PSYC 3900H
Honors Seminar in Psychology
5*****
Pros: An easy yet thought-provoking class that's very discussion-based. Dr. Renzi is awesome!
For her 5100 and 3900H seminars, she lets the students' interests guide the subject matter and lets the class go off on tangents about whatever you want to know in Psychology. Also, her research area is very practical for healthy lifestyle changes you can make to benefit your brain. You'll want to eat nothing but vegetables and go on runs after this class.

Pros: She is hilarious and really cares about whether the student receives a good grade, she is free most of the time and you should visit office hours. She makes study guides before tests and provides helpful hints in terms of how you should study for class. Overall she is a great professor.
Cons: Covers A lot of information in the chapters so you have to do reading but that's what you should expect with any college level course

Pros: Lisa is the best teacher I have ever had! She is very passionate about psychology and makes the class super interesting.
Cons: It can be a lot of material to learn(but if you show up its not bad)

Lisa does curse occasionally, and we do cover some controversial topics so if you are easily offended/close minded you may want to find a different class.
The best class I have ever taken!!!

Pros: She is very interested in the subject and will always answer questions. She is very lay back and in touch with how her students think. She is more than just a professor in a large lecture class, she engages you no matter where you are. Also the anonymous feedback thread is a great way for students' opinions to be heard.
Cons: Can get off topic when certain questions are asked.
