MATH 2200
Analytic Geometry and Calculus
4****
Pros: A very nice lady. At the beginning of the semester she makes it very clear that she is a Christian and that she will do her best to show that through her attitude towards her students. Whether you're religious or not, she definitely makes herself more approachable by telling us about herself.

She will always have time for questions and is willing to meet you outside of her office hour times if you just email her.

She gives partial credit on quizzes and tests that can make a BIG difference.
Cons: Her tests are ridiculously hard compared to her quizzes and homework. Don't think just because you've done well on all the quizzes that you'll ace the test.

Insists that you show ALL of your work and counts off if you don't.
If you're someone like me, who isn't great at math and needs to be pushed to do well, sit in the front. She'll remember you and let you know when she thinks you can do better. Some people may not like that but I found it beneficial. Also, make sure to show as much work as possible on tests, even if you have no idea what you're doing. You'll probably get a few extra points for trying.

MATH 2110
Calculus for Economics
5*****
Pros: This class followed the information from my Calc 1 class very closely. If you miss less than 4 days you can replace your lowest test score with you final exam score. Homework is optional, but it will help you greatly with the tests. The questions on tests and quizzes will never be something that you haven't seen an example of from homework or in class.
Cons: The points on tests and quizzes are weighed heavily... meaning stupid mistakes/ copying errors hurt your score a lot. Even if you do well on all of the tests you still have to take the final.

MATH 1113
Precalculus
5*****
Pros: She's such a sweet woman! Definitely willing to help out and she makes sure you completely understand the info. She kind of teaches like a high school teacher..handouts and what not. She can be a bit sarcastic at times but usually she's a sweet, southern woman.
Cons: Expects you study on your own.

She hates when people don't bring in questions to class.
PreCal is generally hell at UGA and uncessarily difficult but for the most part she helps student's work through it. I ended the class with a B+.

MATH 1113
Precalculus
5*****
Pros: She is really friendly and takes a lot of time out of class to cover material she thinks students need reviewed
Cons: She doesn't usually ask WHAT people need help on and just assumes that her feedback will be most helpful so sometimes she unnecessarily reviews homework questions that no one struggles with and it wastes a lot of class time.
I'd definitely recommend her. She's thorough with the material and approachable as a teacher.

MATH 1113
Precalculus
5*****
Pros: Extremely nice

goes through material throughly

always willing to answer questions in class
Cons: none
One of the best math teachers I have had. She takes the time to go over every single kind of problem from the homework and web quizzes. Pre cal in general is just a fast paced course. Her weekly quizzes are easy, they just make sure you are staying on top of the material. Definitely take her!

Pros: She's from the south and speaks fluent English which is probably the best part.

She's very sweet and always willing to help and takes time to thoroughly explain everything.
Cons: There's a ton of webassign and the tests are kind of hard, but I think I definitely lucked out as far as calc professors

Pros: She explains the material very well and the work is very modest.
