ADSC 2300 - Companion Animal Care
If you're interested in animals (dogs, cats, reptiles, small mammals, etc) this is a pretty easy and interesting class. Everything is fair game on the tests so go to class... examples: guest speakers, videos played in class, and student presentations...

If you're interested in animals (dogs, cats, reptiles, small mammals, etc) this is a pretty easy and interesting class. Everything is fair game on the tests so go to class... examples: guest speakers, videos played in class, and student presentations on assigned Hot Friday topics. Other than the tests...you have a service project (volunteering) and a 2 pg paper about your service project.

Pros: Very easy class

Extra credit

Most notes posted

Cons: Slightly boring, almost too easy of the class
-Turner was a very nice lady, and very approachable.

-The class is very easy.

-Most of the notes are posted on eLC, she leaves a few blanks per powerpoint. They are easy to google if you don't go to class.

-Three tests and a final, you can drop the final though.

-One 3 hour service project and paper, if you do it you get 100%

Great class, great teacher

Pros: She is super nice and the class is really interesting. There are really interesting guest speakers like someone from the guide dog foundation, someone who brings in reptiles, a vet, and a police dog handler
Cons: You can't take the test without at least looking over the material first which is kind of surprising

FYOS 1001
First-Year Odyssey Seminar
5*****
Pros: Literally no test

Dr. Turner is friendly and approachable

super easy class

fun and interesting if you enjoy horses
Cons: none
This FYOS is super fun and relaxing because you just sit and talk about horses for a hour. There is only one project, a presentation on a specific racehorse that you choose, and she's easy on the grading. There is also one paper, which is also easy. Overall, a nice class to take freshman year!
