ENGR 1140 - Computational Engineering Methods
I worked for it 8 hours or more per week for it, and studied. But i still got B-. His tests are impossible to do, and reading the book is not just enough to do well on tests and quiz. that is why he sometimes let you to open your book in some exams!!!
Pros: he is a good teacher.
Cons: I think even he lets you to sometimes in and only in one of the exams, the quiz and tests are that hard that even when you have the book in front of you, you CANNOT solve the problem.

Pros: Easy tests

Fill in the blank notes

Will help outside class
Cons: none
The best teacher to get in driftmier. Take him in whatever class possible. Pretty sure he is the only teacher for circuits right now and you should be thankful for getting him. A much needed break from statics, strengths, thermo...ect

Pros: Very nice

Very interesting personality (for lack of a better word)

Makes the class enjoyable and easy
Cons: Makes the class almost too easy

He's a very quirky guy but that makes him likable. His "tests" (labels them as quizzes) are open note and open matlab so unless you make a stupid mistake you are almost guaranteed a 100. This was by far my favorite class of the semester and I highly recommend taking Yoder's class

Pros: Notes provided for you
Cons: none
Easiest class I have ever taken. Never thought I'd get a 100 in a class in college, but Yoder was great. This class required no effort and I still learned a good bit about Matlab. Definitely recommend taking Yoder if you ever have the option.

Pros: Easy class

Super nice, funny, and helpful guy

If you can take Yoder, take Yoder. You will not regret it. If you don't have any programming background, Matlab may be a little tricky to wrap your head around, but once you have the basic concepts and way of thinking down, the tests are just a matter of memorization. There is time in class to work on any homework and projects, and he works through the homework in class before it's due. It is not graded. The tests are multiple choice and easy if you've done some basic memorization.

Pros: Cool teacher, very excited about his work. Also really linient given he's an engineering teacher. His class is one of the easiest classes offered in the engineering department. Still, take it seriously.
Cons: None really, just do the work and you'll be fine.
