BLAW 3150 - Business Law I
Pretty easy class. If you can find the test reviews from when his dad taught the class, all of the notes and tests come from that.

BLAW 3150 - Business Law I
Pros: Attendance expected but not required or regulated. He goes over test questions during lectures if you go to class and write them down. Homework offered on Cengage, but not graded or required. Most material is straight from the book.
Cons: Class is generally only offered at 8am - not good for those of us who hate mornings. Each test is a substantial amount of material, the first one a total of 9 chapters. Your entire grade is based on the 3 exams, so if test-taking isn't your thing, this isn't your class. No extra credit offered.

Pros: Great at giving lectures, and made the class very intriguing. He is a judge, so has legit stories, and makes boring chapters more interesting with potential crimes that may happen and asks the class what they think they would be charged with. I knew nothing about law and got an A on the first test. Only two tests and a a final. Tests are just based on what he covers in the lectures so you have to attend class. ( but its okay but his classes are FUN!)
Cons: He talks a lot, and very fast so it can be difficult to keep up writing notes. If you have a laptop I would recommend bringing that to type up your notes. He has no power points so you have to attend class, listen, and take notes.

Pros: Gives very explicit notes and examples. Test come directly from lectures (book is also helpful but you do not need to read all of it if you have his notes)
Cons: Only three test meaning that you only have three chances of earning your grade. If you do poorly on one you only have two more to make up for it. No homework or attendance to give additional credit

I like him as a teacher and I definitely recommend him but you must pay attention and do well on the exams because they are the only things that are being graded. He gives some extra credit but it is rare. attendance is not mandatory. His first test is super easy but the final is extremely tricky. Be careful.
