BCIS 2610
Introduction to Computers in Business
4****
Pros: Scans the actual tests on the screen, but you have to be a fast typer or writer to copy all the questions, projects go step by step in the book. Tries to make class more interesting by talking about tech around the world and showing semi-funny videos. Final replaces a low test grade or a missed one, quizzes are easy
Cons: No late work no make up tests. Pop quizzes, never know when one will happen. Class is sometimes boring
take you laptop to class and just cruise the net when he talks, quizzes are usually the last couple of mins of class, but could be any class. Find a buddy and help eachouther out when he scans the tests.

Pros: You don't have to stay for the 3 hours. He scrolls the 100 question exam for the review day, so if you copy down the questions and answers, you have the entire exam to study for a week. AMAZING.
Cons: Projects aren't described well in the book at all. The book is unbound and only fits in a 4 inch binder. Don't really need to buy the book, but required for the projects which stinks.
This class is extremely boring, but he does his best at making it fun. He rarely discusses anything in the book, but he brings in current topics and discusses how they relate somewhat to BCIS. I would take this professor.

Introduction to Computers in Business
2**
Pros: Scrolls through the tests a day or two before. If you work with a few other people in the class and collaborate you can pretty much have the entire test before to study and get a 100.
Cons: He goes off on so many random tangents. He's a nice guy but he doesn't like talking about BCIS or anything the class actually covers.
