Pros: nice and approachable professor

interesting course material

great, illustrative, fun in-class exercises and games

many opportunities for extra-credit

get clicker points just for clicking in, whether right or wrong

easy multiple-choice tests, mostly from lectures
Cons: huge class

lots of noise from uninterested freshmen

if you don't get a good group for your video project, you could be screwed

weekly online reading quizzes that are more difficult than in-class tests

Pros: She doesn't take attendance, and her lectures just review the material you are supposed to read for class. Also, she explains everything very well and is available during her office hours!
Cons: She doesn't take attendance so you feel like you don't have to go to class.
Great teacher!

Pros: She does her own lectures which I like. She is really knowledgeable on the subject and a very understanding professor.
Cons: You have to keep up with your work and HAVE to go to class. She always says clicker points don't affect your grade that much, but they DO. I promise you.

Pros: okay, seriously, this is one of the most boring classes.. BUT, she’s an awesome teacher. I had another teacher before her, and i was so scared of political science, but she actually keeps it ineresting
