CH 302 - PRINCIPLES OF CHEMISTRY II
Pros: Is very good at explaining things. Exams are not too easy but they are not really hard either. She puts up the notes and has lecture on demands, so if you miss class you can watch what you missed. Also, her notes are pretty good, so you can listen instead of trying to write notes the whole class period. Just jotting down important facts and calculations are necessary. Makes her class pretty easy to fallow.
Cons: Class was really early. Do not know when quizzes are going to happen, so it is important to be there because she doesn't give very many of them. Asking a question may be a bit drawn out. Would suggest going to Sanger for help instead.

Pros: She is a great professor that is very friendly and she also has a good sense of humor.
Cons: Her work isn't very easy. Chemistry is just difficult.
Do all the homework and don't just google it. Go to every class too, she explains things that might not be very understandable on the notes. She does have a daily participation grade and an occasional iclicker quiz. Also, homeworks are assigned and due at very weird times.

Pros: Excellent professor! Makes it relatable and really knows her stuff. Breaks down the material in an understandable way. She has an inborn curve, allowing you to get an extra 5% in bonus points.
Cons: The homework and tests are difficult. It is a hard class.
Do the homework and study that for the test. It is all Quest based.

Pros: She is so funny and nice! She can handle the mass amount of students in lecture, but always go to office hours. She teaches very well
Cons: Nothing much..

I wish she taught smaller classes because you could get to know her better
Try out all the TA's for review sessions before the tests.. because some are better than others

CHEMISTRY IN CONTEXT II
2**
Pros: Somewhat easy material to understand.

Homework is Easy
Cons: Mediocre Teaching and Explaining.

Puts questions on tests that were never on her lecture.

Very Disorganized

If you are thinking that "Chemistry in Context II", which is a science course for non-science majors, was going to be an easy A, you may have second thoughts once you take Sutcliffe. Although the material thought in her class is not too difficult, she is not the best at teaching which leads to study most of the material by yourself, which makes this class hard. The tests sometimes has questions that were answerable if you memorized the book PAGE by PAGE....

Her worst problem is that she is very disorganized when it comes to making announcements on Canvas. It comes to the point where she's making an announcement every hour on Canvas, just to clarify the mistakes that she made during her lecture.

There are better teachers to take, she is not the one.

CH 302
PRINCIPLES OF CHEMISTRY II

Pros: Sutcliffe is awesome. She understands that chemistry is not everyone's thing and she tries her best to explain every concept as clearly as possible. Then, she curves very appropriately and makes sure that most of the students are at least passing. Her workload is not that heavy and her grading was extremely easy. She allows the students to do Sapling or Aleks for extra credit. Up to 5 points on the final grade!
Beware of the third test. This is a average destroyer! It was extremely tough just because it is a difficult concept!

PRINCIPLES OF CHEMISTRY II
5*****
Pros: Awesome teacher, easy to talk to, not intimidating like most professors.
Cons: none.
She is an amazing teacher, she clearly loves her job. She is easy to approach if you have any questions or need help on anything. There are weekly homework's on Quest and optional homework's on Sapling or ALEKS. The exams are closely related to the homework's, she doesn't try to trick you. Great professor.

Pros: Lots of notes. Go to class, put in the work and you will be fine. Tests aren't bad.
Cons: Clicker quizes -- but she sometimes announces these. ALEKS -- kind of busywork, but it's an easy 100 for 5% or your grade
If you're willing to put the work in, you can make a good grade. Simple as.
