PHIL 1204
Knowledge and Reality
5*****
Pros: Very thorough.

Indepth. Clear. Precise
Cons: Had to read a decent amount (not that bad)
This was a great class and a great teacher. I'm very interested in the subject matter so it wasn't hard to pay attention but the professor really helped. Even though we talked about crazy philosophical issues he made sure the whole lecture understood the ideas with examples and explanations. The recitation also helped immensely. He gave us allt he questions that were going to be on the final a week before and really explained everything. Great class, teacher, and thoughts

PHIL 1204
Knowledge and Reality
4****
Pros: Exams are easy if you go to the recitation before the exam.
Cons: You go through a lot of farfetched ideas from lots of philosophers in this class. Not a class for people who want a concrete answer about knowledge OR reality.
If you're big into learning about how you can really know something, you'll like this course. The recitations were a bit quiet, though. The book is somewhat important, but he goes through all the stuff from the readings in his Powerpoint, which are all on Scholar.

PHIL 1204
Knowledge and Reality
4****
Pros: Not difficult. The material is explained really well.
Cons: Impersonal due to large lecture size, even with recitations. Because it was an intro class there was this element of "We're philosophers, so WHACKY!" that was sort of patronizing and annoying after the first week or so.
