GREAT TEACHER. If you have ACIS 2504 you HAVE TO TAKE HER. Seriously, she is the most understanding and genuinely nice professor I have ever met in my life. She takes the time to understand your problems and work with you. I though I had failed two exams and received As. There are 8 homeworks over the semester and each take between 1-2 hours but you can speak with the TAs if they are hard - these are all Excel based. There are 3 tests that she gives you that are open note and she gives you great study material to do well. You should get an A, lowest a B if you are a decent student. Good luck!

Pros: Amazing teacher and pretty easy subject material
Cons: Lectures can get a little boring at times, and sometimes the teacher can go through concepts pretty quickly.
Dr. Seref is the sweetest lady ever, and she's such a fun and happy teacher. The class material is really easy, it's all Excel and really basic VBA stuff, and if there are hard concepts, she makes them easy on tests and guides you through all assignments really well. She familiarizes you with a ton of applicable business tricks on Excel that you can use in offices, and she has bonuses on all tests as well, in addition to a sample exam before each test that is a lot like the real one. Exams are open notes and on the computer.

This is definitely one of the easiest classes I've had and Professor Seref is one of the nicest, and caring professors around. Her class is extremely easy as long as you show up to class and follow along during class on Excel. There are 8 homework assignments that can be difficult at times but she has office hours where she pretty much walks through the entire homework step by step. There is also a ton of partial credit available and all her exams were open notes. As long as you show up to class, complete the work, and pay attention, there is no reason not to get an A in the class.

Pros: The best teacher you'll ever meet.
Cons: NONE
She's by far the greatest teacher I've had at Tech. People say it's an easy A but underestimate how much you actually use what you learn in this class in the "real world". She always puts her lectures online in case you missed something in class or if you didn't go, she walks you step by step through all of the homeworks, her exams are open books and open notes. Now you think with all of this being offered you won't actually learn anything, but that's the beauty, I can remember everything I learned from this class with no trouble. If you have to take this class, or just want to get better at Excel, absolutely take Michelle!!

Pros: LOVE her! Such a nice person, and I loved how she taught us real life skills in the classroom. Things I feel I will actually use and that I liked learning about. She really cares about her students and will help you however she can. And its such a smart set up with the exams, where you actually make an excel file, and she grades that.
Cons: Nothing.
Go to class, bring your computer, do the excel files as she does them. Do HW on time. An easy A will follow.

Pros: She is a great person to speak 1:1 with for help or grading concerns and she knows what she is talking about. You have a high chance of getting an A or A- if you work hard enough.
Cons: She talks too fast. Her talking speed is the reason why this rating doesn't have her at **** or *****
You will learn a lot of applicable stuff in this class and everyone who can take it should take it.

Pros: By far the best professor out there as she sees the class as an opportunity to better her students and prepare them for the real world. She will do whatever she can to help out her students, and wants all her students to get good grades.
Cons: She goes through the material very quickly so you better pay attention the entire time or you can get lost pretty easily.
