ACIS 3516 - Systems Development
He uses a unique style, but after two semesters i was very impressed. Give it a chance - approach it with an open and willing mind - and you will do well.

Pros: none
Cons: doesn't teach

Had him for BIT 4524 and he is the worst. Does not teach the material. He expects you to come to class with the homework done and then you "discuss" the homework with your group but I personally never learned anything from those discussions and that's the entire class. The semester long project is super annoying... he gives such vague feedback when you ask him for help and then grades it harshly. Avoid him if you can

Pros: The class isn't that hard and there isn't that much work as long as you stay on top of the project. The homework is very simple
Cons: Can be confusing if you read the textbook word for word
I have this theory that he does not actually understand what he is teaching. If you ask a simple question he will respond with some complicated idea that is unrelated. His text book looks like he right clicked on every word and looked up synonyms for them.

Mgmt Inf Sys & Tech
1*
Pros: He wrote the textbook
Cons: He will mention every day that he wrote the textbook, therefore he is a God among men and is never wrong.

I had a 94 in the class, took the "group project final" and my grade went from a 94 to a 71.
